Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Diffract.Studio collects, uses, stores, and protects information connected to our website, client enquiries, and owned content operations tools.
Who we are
Diffract.Studio is a UK-based creative studio producing cinema-grade AI campaign assets, concept films, digital talent, product visuals, and social content. This policy applies to diffract.studio and to tools we operate for our own studio content workflows.

- Project information you choose to share with us, including briefs, links, references, and attachments.
- Basic website analytics, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, browser type, referrer, and timestamp.

- To plan, produce, deliver, and archive creative work.
- To manage Diffract.Studio's own marketing, portfolio, social, and content operations.
- To understand website and content performance so we can improve our work and operations.
- To comply with legal, security, accounting, and platform-policy requirements.
Pinterest API usage
Diffract.Studio uses Pinterest API access only for owned studio content operations. Our Pinterest API application is used by Diffract.Studio staff to publish, organize, maintain, and review content on Pinterest accounts owned by Diffract.Studio. It is not a public consumer product and does not let third-party users log in.
The application may request access to read our Pinterest account profile, read and manage our Boards, and read, create, update, or remove Pins on our owned account. We use this access to plan, publish, verify, and report on Diffract.Studio portfolio, campaign, and studio marketing content.
We do not sell Pinterest API data. We do not share Pinterest API data with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or public users. We do not use Pinterest API data for third-party ad targeting.
Public app information is available at https://diffract.studio/pinterest-app.
Legal basis
Where UK GDPR applies, we process information under one or more of the following lawful bases: consent, contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligation. Our legitimate interests include responding to studio enquiries, managing production work, maintaining security, and operating our owned marketing channels.
How we share information
We share information only when needed to run the studio or deliver work. This may include secure service providers for hosting, analytics, email, project management, file storage, creative production tools, payment/accounting, or social-platform operations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the studio, our clients, or our systems.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including project delivery, portfolio rights, legal records, accounting, security, and platform compliance. If information is no longer needed, we archive or remove it according to our internal retention practices.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also request a copy of information we hold about you.
Security
We use practical technical and organisational safeguards to protect information, including restricted credential storage, access controls, and secure service providers. No online system is perfectly secure, but we keep data access limited to what is necessary.
International processing
Some services we use may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those services, such as contractual protections and recognised transfer mechanisms.
