Diffract.Studio uses this Pinterest API application to publish, organize, maintain, and review content on Pinterest accounts owned by Diffract.Studio. The application is used by Diffract.Studio staff only. It is not a public consumer product, does not let third-party users log in, and does not collect Pinterest data from the general public.
The app helps our team create and manage Boards, create and update Pins, read our own Pins and Boards, read our own Pinterest account profile information, and verify that published content appears correctly. We use this access for owned social content operations connected to the Diffract.Studio portfolio, campaigns, and studio marketing.
Requested Pinterest API scopes
user_accounts:read— to identify and verify the Diffract.Studio Pinterest account used by the app.boards:read— to read the Boards on the owned Diffract.Studio account.boards:write— to create, update, or organize Boards on the owned Diffract.Studio account.pins:read— to read Pins published by the owned Diffract.Studio account.pins:write— to create, update, or remove Pins on the owned Diffract.Studio account.
Data use
Data accessed through the Pinterest API is used only for Diffract.Studio's owned content workflow: planning, publishing, organizing, checking, and reporting on our own Pinterest content.
Diffract.Studio does not sell Pinterest API data, share Pinterest API data with data brokers, use it for third-party ad targeting, or expose it to public users.
